Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At HexRGBPro, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how our website operates, what data we collect (spoiler: essentially none), and how we protect your information. Unlike many web services, HexRGBPro is built with a privacy-first architecture where all color processing happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your colors, images, and design work never leave your device.
Information We Do NOT Collect
HexRGBPro is designed to operate without collecting personal information. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identification information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address
- Images you upload for palette extraction—all image processing happens locally in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API
- Color codes or palettes you create, convert, or work with—all color calculations are performed client-side
- Browser fingerprints or device identifiers for tracking purposes
- Account information—we don't require registration or user accounts
- Payment information—all our tools are completely free
How Our Tools Work (Client-Side Processing)
All HexRGBPro color tools execute entirely in your web browser using vanilla JavaScript. When you upload an image for palette extraction, the FileReader API reads your local file into browser memory without transmitting it over the internet. The Canvas API processes the image, extracts colors, and displays results—all on your device. When you close the browser tab, all data is discarded. This architecture ensures complete privacy and enables our tools to work offline once the page is loaded.
Cookies and Local Storage
HexRGBPro does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We may use browser localStorage in the future to remember your preferences (such as color format preferences or recent colors) purely for enhancing your user experience. This data, if implemented, would be stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to any server. You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
Google AdSense (Advertising)
HexRGBPro may display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this service. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to display relevant advertisements based on your browsing activity. Google may collect information about your visit to this site and other sites to provide targeted advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or by using browser privacy features.
Analytics (If Implemented)
We may implement privacy-respecting analytics (such as plausible.io or simple server logs) to understand aggregate usage patterns—for example, which tools are most popular. If implemented, we will use analytics services that do not track individual users, do not use cookies, and do not collect personally identifiable information. Any analytics will focus on aggregate statistics like page views and referral sources.
External Links
HexRGBPro contains links to external resources such as MDN Web Docs (developer.mozilla.org), W3C specifications, and Wikipedia for educational purposes. When you click these links, you leave our site and are subject to the privacy policies of those external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
HexRGBPro does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. Our tools are designed for web developers, designers, and digital artists. We do not require user registration or collect personal information. If you believe a child has provided information through our contact form, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
Data Security
Because we don't collect or store user data, there is no centralized database of user information to be breached. All processing happens locally in your browser. Our website is served over HTTPS to ensure the integrity and privacy of data transmitted between your browser and our server (limited to downloading the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files themselves).
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have specific privacy rights under regulations like GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California), or other privacy laws. Since HexRGBPro does not collect personal data, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are not applicable. However, you have the right to:
- Access information about our privacy practices (this policy)
- Opt out of advertising cookies through Google's settings or browser controls
- Contact us with privacy questions or concerns at any time
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service features. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of HexRGBPro after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
International Users
HexRGBPro is accessible globally. If you access our site from outside the United States, please be aware that any information processed (limited to server logs and potential analytics) may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.

Transparency Commitment
We believe in radical transparency about privacy. HexRGBPro's entire operation is client-side, with source code visible in your browser's developer tools. You can verify that no data is transmitted to external servers by monitoring network activity while using our tools. We will never implement hidden tracking, sell data, or compromise user privacy for profit.
