Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using HexRGBPro ("the Service," "our website," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HexRGBPro. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Description of Service

HexRGBPro provides free, browser-based color conversion and manipulation tools for web developers, designers, and digital artists. Our Service includes but is not limited to: HEX/RGB/HSL color conversion, visual color pickers, shades and tints generation, color palette extraction from images, color name identification, and CMYK conversion tools. All tools operate client-side in your browser using JavaScript and require no registration or user accounts.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use HexRGBPro only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Use the Service in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce in the same time period
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or discover source code (though our client-side code is intentionally open and visible)
Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
Impersonate HexRGBPro or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with us
Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with others' use

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, code, graphics, and compilation, is owned by HexRGBPro and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from our Service except as follows:

Your browser may temporarily cache copies as necessary for normal browser operation
You may print or download one copy of reasonable portions of material for personal, non-commercial use
You may share links to our Service on social media or other platforms

The color codes, palettes, and conversion results you generate using our tools belong to you. We claim no ownership over your creative work or color values produced using the Service.

No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. HexRGBPro makes no warranty that:

The Service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis
The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Service will meet your expectations
Color conversions, particularly RGB to CMYK, will exactly match professional print output (see CMYK disclaimer below)
The Service is free from viruses or other harmful components

Professional Use Disclaimer

Color-Critical Work: While our color conversion algorithms are mathematically accurate and based on industry standards, HexRGBPro is an educational and productivity tool, not professional color management software. For color-critical professional work, especially print production, always verify results using calibrated displays, professional color management systems, ICC color profiles, and consultation with your service provider.

CMYK Conversion Disclaimer: RGB to CMYK conversion is inherently approximate due to gamut differences between additive and subtractive color models. Our CMYK values do not account for specific printing presses, paper stocks, ink formulations, or color profiles (SWOP, GRACoL, Fogra). Always perform final CMYK color separations using professional prepress software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) with appropriate ICC profiles for your printing conditions.

Third-Party Content and Links

Our Service contains links to third-party websites and resources (such as MDN Web Docs, W3C specifications, and Wikipedia) for educational purposes. Advertising

HexRGBPro may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense) to support the free operation of the Service. Ad content and targeting are managed by third-party ad networks, not by HexRGBPro.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HEXRGBPRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

Your use or inability to use the Service
Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in color conversions or content
Print production issues arising from CMYK conversions or color matching
Unauthorized access to or use of our servers (though we do not store your data)
Any bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted through the Service
Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service

In no event shall HexRGBPro's total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the amount you paid us in the last six months (which is zero dollars for our free service).

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HexRGBPro, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Since we do not collect user accounts or store your data, termination simply means blocking your access to the Service.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within the United States for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HexRGBPro regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements between you and HexRGBPro.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
